Leadership Culture spelled in wooden blocks on a neutral background

A Lifetime of Dedicated Service

Colonel Edward Prem (Ret.) is a retired U.S. Army Colonel, technology professional, and dedicated family man running for Mayor to bring steady, disciplined leadership to Keller. He believes city government should remain focused on infrastructure, public safety, and serving residents, not partisan politics. During his military career, Ed served in senior executive leadership roles, managing large organizations, overseeing complex operations, and ensuring accountability for personnel, budgets, and critical systems. His work required strategic planning, operational discipline, and clear communication. He believes municipal leadership should function the same way: set clear priorities, manage taxpayer dollars responsibly, support city staff, and deliver measurable results. Keller has been financially strong, but future success requires proactive leadership. Roads, drainage, public safety staffing, technology modernization, and long-term capital planning demand consistent oversight and forward thinking. Ed’s background in organizational management and infrastructure oversight positions him to help ensure Keller remains safe, efficient, and prepared for responsible growth. Ed is the proud father of two adult children, and he and his wife, Sabrina, are raising a senior at Keller High School. As parents with a student in Keller ISD, they understand firsthand the importance of safe neighborhoods, strong schools, well-maintained parks, and city leadership that models stability and civility. Their family is deeply invested in the community and committed to keeping Keller welcoming and opportunity-rich for families at every stage of life.

To Lead with Integrity and Purpose

Ed holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from The Ohio State University, a Master of Arts in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. His background in technology and strategy equips him to modernize city systems, strengthen support for first responders, and ensure responsible, forward-looking governance. He is running for Mayor to restore professionalism at City Hall, strengthen cooperation with regional partners, support competitive compensation for city and public safety personnel, and keep Keller focused on residents. Keller deserves experienced, principled leadership grounded in integrity and service. Ed Prem is ready to lead.
